Cook County man sues driver after he was allegedly struck in Wood Dale parking lot

A Cook County man is suing over claims he was injured by a moving vehicle while standing in a parking lot in DuPage County.

Agustin Camacho filed a lawsuit Aug. 7 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Delfino Garcia and Delfino Garcia Sr. of Garcia’s Pallets Service Corp., citing negligence.

According to the claim, Camacho was struck by Garcia’s vehicle, a 1997 Great Dane Trailer, on Aug. 8, 2013, while he was standing in a parking lot at 811 Lively Blvd. in Wood Dale, which caused Camacho to suffer external and internal injuries to his body and limb as a result of the impact.

Camacho is seeking damages of more than $50,000 plus the costs of suit for Garcia’s negligence to not properly exercise safety around his vehicle, the claim states.

He is being represented by Rodriguez Legal Group, LLC in Chicago.
