Haircuttery

A woman is suing over claims she was injured at hair care and beauty salon Hair Cuttery in Woodstock.

Jeannine Crow filed a lawsuit Aug. 18 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Creative Hairdressers Inc., doing business as Hair Cuttery, citing negligence.

According to the claim, Crow was receiving service from a hair dresser at the Hair Cuttery, located at 115 S. Eastwood Drive in Woodstock on June 19, 2014, when she was caused to become severely burned on and about her scalp, forehead and left eye region, which has caused her to expend money for medical care and treatment.

Crow is seeking damages of more than $50,000 plus the costs of this suit for the Hair Cuttery’s negligence to not further protect the safety of Crow during her salon treatment, which has caused her personal injury permanent in nature and loss of her daily lifestyle, the claim states.

She is being represented by Bradley A. Skafish and Jeffrey S. Deutschman of Deutschman and Associates in Chicago.
