Wencel suing Resource Automotive over website contract breach allegations

Qcertified

Wencel Worldwide Inc. is suing over claims of a contract breach against another Illinois-based corporation.

Wencel Worldwide Inc. filed a lawsuit in Cook County Circuit Court against Resource Automotive Inc. citing breach of contract, unjust enrichment and negligence.

According to the claim, Wencel signed into a contract with Resource Automotive on June 11, 2010, that it would provide a website (www.qcertified.com) for Resource Automotive to advertise and sell used cars. From June 11, 2010, to April 2014, both parties honored their obligations under the contract, until Resource attempted to modify the contract wherein it terminated the commission payments, which to this day has cost Wencel the sum of $500,000, the claim states.

Wencel is seeking judgment in the amount of $500,000 plus any other relief the court may consider proper for Resource’s negligence to not follow through with the contract.

The company is being represented by Pamela Visvardis of RE Law Chicago.

Cook County Circuit Court case number 2015L008787.
