Two Illinois men are suing two Burr Ridge firms and their owners, alleging default on more than $800,000 in unpaid loans.
Vincent DiVito of Barrington,, as trustee of the Vincent DiVito Revocable Trust, and Brian Gerber of Itasca filed a lawsuit Oct. 8 in Cook County Circuit Court against Mario Martino and David Briggs as members of D&M Ticket Pro, Practova Management Company Inc. and Intrella Industries.
According to the complaint, between October 2014 and February 2015, DiVito and Gerber loaned the defendants $821,488, including interest, for a business arrangement involving concert, sporting and theater tickets. On Feb. 19, both parties signed an agreement giving the tangible property, funds generated from ticket sales plus any unsold tickets as security for the loans, the suit says.
