M&J Investors alleges 560 Bartlett did not pay $100,000 in outstanding loans

CHICAGO–A Lombard investment firm is suing a company and two individuals, alleging they refuse to repay the $100,000 it borrowed.

M&J Investors filed a lawsuit Nov. 23 in Cook County Circuit Court against 560 Bartlett Inc., Michael Olsen and Gary Danno, alleging breach of a promissory note and breach of commercial continuing guaranty.

According to the complaint, M&J loaned 560 Bartlett $100,000 on Dec. 31, 2013, with annual interest of 30 percent and repayment due June 12, 2014. The suit says Bartlett has refused to pay back the loan, despite signed guarantees from Olsen and Danno.

M&J Investors seeks damages of more than $171,000, plus interest and litigation costs. It is represented by attorney Jason A. Cook of Sethna & Cook in Wheaton.
