CHICAGO – Two Cook County men are suing an Evergreen Park bar and a patron, alleging the defendant attacked them, causing permanent injuries.

Eugene Kilty and Timothy O’Shea filed a lawsuit Dec. 9 in Cook County Circuit Court against Porter Cullen’s Inc., doing business as Porter Cullen’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, and Richard Gallagher, alleging liability for personal injury.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 10, 2014, Kilty and O’Shea were patrons of Porter Cullen’s Irish Pub when Gallagher physically attacked them. The suit says Kilty and O’Shea suffered head, face and body trauma and hand injuries from the altercation, resulting in current and future medical costs, plus pain and suffering.

The lawsuit accuses the bar of serving liquor that caused Gallagher’s rampage.

Kilty and O’Shea seek damages of more than $50,000. They are represented by attorney Paul A. Tanzillo of Tanzillo Gallucci LLC in Chicago.
