CHICAGO – A man alleges negligent care from doctors and medical facilities caused him further injury.
Thomas Simon filed a complaint on March 25 in Cook County Circuit Court against Riverside Health System Inc., Riverside Medical Center Inc., Dr. Charles Harvey, Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago Inc., Dr. Ki Kim and Dr. Alan Anschel, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, on June 30, 2014, he has suffered from profound bilateral upper extremity weakness after a medical procedure. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to order post-operative testing and other further tests.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks an amount in excess of court's jurisdictional limits. He is represented by Brion W. Doherty of Motherway & Napleton LLP in Chicago.
