CHICAGO — A mother is suing Elmhurst medical practitioners, alleging negligence led to her son's eye injury.

Li Jun Huang, mother of Adrian Zhuang  filed a lawsuit March 28 in Cook County Circuit Court against Dr. Victoria Uribe, Dr. Michael Hoffman, Dr. Robert Anderson, Dr. David Matusiak, Dr. Kristen Zeitler, Dr. Marianne Senese, Dr. Megan Clipp, Elmhurst Clinic LLC and Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, alleging negligence in failing to exercise due care in providing medical care and treatment.

According to the complaint, on March 22, 2007, Zhuang was diagnosed with a profound impairment to the right eye that had been suffering from since his birth in 2003. The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to detect, diagnose, treat and evaluate her son's medical condition after his birth.
