Man alleges fall at Lake Forest Hospital caused woman's death

Lawyer

CHICAGO – An estate administrator alleges that a fall at a heath care facility caused his decedent's death.

Robert Seng, administrator of the estate of Barbara Seng, deceased filed a complaint on April 13 in Cook County Circuit Court against Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, doing business as Lake Forest Hospital, citing negligence and wrongful death.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 21, 2015, Barbara Seng suffered a fall and suffered a subdural hematoma while receiving treatment at the hospital, which caused her death on April 12, 2015. The plaintiff holds Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to exercise care during the treatment of Barbara Seng.

The plaintiff seeks judgment of $50,000, plus the costs of suit. He is represented by Samantha Sindles of Dudley & Lake LLC in Libertyville.
