CHICAGO — A Cook County woman is suing Chicago contractors, alleging their negligence caused a temporary fence to collapse on her.
Jane Choi filed a lawsuit April 20, in Cook County Circuit Court against Global Builders, Inc. and Driven Fence, Inc., alleging negligence when the defendants failed to exercise reasonable care in maintaining the safeness of its construction site.
According to the complaint, on July 23, 2015, while Choi was walking near a temporary construction site in Chicago, she was injured when a temporary fence fell and struck her.
