Surgery patient accuses health service providers of negligence

CHICAGO — A patient is suing Joliet-based health care providers, alleging negligence caused her to suffer surgical complications.

Susan Henry filed a lawsuit April 20 in Cook County Circuit Court against Presence Central And Suburban Hospitals Network doing business as Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Presence Health Partners LLC, podiatrists Micahel S. Williams and Bilal Siddiqui and Chicago Podiatric Surgeons PC, alleging negligence in failing to exercise standard care in performing medical operative procedures.

According to the complaint, on May 30, 2015, Henry sustained injuries of a personal and pecuniary nature after undergoing three right foot surgeries that developed complications. The plaintiff holds alleges the defendants failed to properly perform operative procedures and use proper surgical techniques.

Henry seeks a trial by jury  and damages of more than $50,000. She is represented by attorney Sean P. Driscoll of Clifford Law Offices PC in Chicago.
