CHICAGO — A Cook County woman is suing a Rockford residential treatment center, alleging she was sexually assaulted.

Mary Bohanan filed a lawsuit May 3 in Cook County Circuit Court against Universal Health Services, Inc., doing business as Rock River Academy & Residential Center, alleging negligence, sexual abuse and sexual harassment.

According to the complaint, between 2012 and 2013, Bohanan experienced abuse, sexual assaults and battery during her stay at the facility.
