Medical equipment seller alleges health care providers owe $42,000

CHICAGO — A Illinois seller of medical equipment is suing a number of health care providers, alleging they owe more than $42,000.

Medline Industries Inc. filed a lawsuit June 1 in Cook County Circuit Court against Paradigm Healthcare Development, LLC. Paradigm Healthcare Center of New Haven, LLC., Paradigm Healthcare Center of Prospect LLC., Paradigm Healthcare Center of Torrington LLC., Paradigm Healthcare Center of Waterbury LLC, Paradigm Healthcare Center of West Haven LLC. Paradigm Healthcare Center of South Windsor LLC. and Walnut Hill, Inc., alleging breach of contract and unpaid debt.

According to the complaint, Medline suffered damages to their business as a result of unpaid goods. The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed and refused to pay the plaintiff $41,928.31 for medical equipment delivered to their facilities.

Medline Industries seeks judgment of $41,928.3,1 plus interest in the amount of $227.48 through June 1, and $20.68 per day thereafter and attorney fees of $350, for a total amount of $42,505.79, plus interest and court costs.
