Mamar Pizza president alleges former pizza restaurant owners broke contract

Contract 07

CHICAGO – A Cook County man alleges that a contract was breached in regards to a pizzeria franchise.

Mamar Aljazara and Mamar Pizza Inc. filed a complaint on June 1 in Cook County Circuit Court against Domenico DiDiana, Bacci Pizzeria of Oak Lawn Inc. and Slice Factory Inc. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege they purchased Bacci Pizzeria from DiDiana for $170,000 in 2014 and entered into a franchise agreement with Slice Factory. The plaintiffs hold DiDiana, Bacci Pizzeria of Oak Lawn Inc. and Slice Factory Inc., responsible because DiDiana allegedly gave direction for Slice Factory to break the franchise agreement.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendant for more than $170,000, plus all court costs and any further relief this court grants.
