CHICAGO – A forklift driver alleges he was injured while unloading a shipment from a tractor-trailer.
Michael Wade filed a complaint on June 16 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 21, 2014, he suffered physical injuries and ultimately became disabled. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because the defendants' employee, Carter, allegedly attempted to move his tractor-trailer from a dock while the plaintiff was inside the trailer operating a forklift.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants of more than $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Paul K. Hanna of Hanna/Vander Ploeg LLC in Chicago.
