Administrator claims Applewood Rehabilitation Center did not provide proper care

Medical malpractice 05

CHICAGO – An administrator alleges a Matteson long-term nursing care facility provided negligent care.

Clarence Lamber, as independent administrator of the estate of Myra Lamber, filed a complaint on June 6 in Cook County Circuit Court against Generations at Applewood LLC, doing business as Applewood Rehabilitation Center, alleging that the facility failed to provide proper care and attention to the decedent while she was resided there.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Myra Lamber experienced pain when she injured herself from falling multiple times at the defendant's facility, which contributed or caused her death on Oct. 25, 2015. The plaintiff holds Generations at Applewood LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision on Myra Lamber at all times.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of more than $50,000. He is represented by Terrence E. Davey of Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates PC in Chicago.
