CHICAGO — The administrator of a deceased man's estate is suing Symphony Jackson Square LLC, doing business as Jackson Square Skilled Nursing Living Center and Jackson Square Nursing & Rehab Center, and Jackson Corp., also doing business as Jackson Square Skilled Nursing Living Center and Jackson Square Nursing & Rehab Center, alleging negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries.

Rose Mary Harris, independent administrator of the estate of Carl Harris, filed a complaint on June 10 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper care to Carl Harris while he was under their care.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Carl Harris experienced pain as a result of falling multiple times and acquiring bed sores, which led to a drastic decline in his physical condition and contributed to his death. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision to Carl Harris at all times and provide proper care and medical attention whenever he needed it.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Philip J. Fowler of Karlin, Fleisher & Falkenberg, LLC in Chicago.
