Employee accuses Diamond Pancake House, Inc. of discrimination
CHICAGO — A woman is suing Diamond Pancake House Inc., an employer, citing alleged discrimination, retaliation and sexual harassment.
Cristina Yanez filed a complaint on June 15 in Cook County Circuit Court against Diamond Pancake House Inc., alleging that the employer allowed an employee to sexually harass the plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between October 2014 and March 2015, she experienced sexual harassment from her supervisor. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible because the defendant allegedly did nothing to prevent the plaintiff from being sexually harassed by her supervisor.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant. She is represented by Carlos G. Becerra and Perla M. Gonzalez of Becerra Law Group, LLC in Chicago.
