Woman claims improper evaluation by dental practice

Illinois resident accuses dentist of medical malpractice

CHICAGO — A woman is suing Earl Schneider, D.D.S., d/b/a Earl Schneider, D.D.S., S.C., and Earl Schneider, D.D.S., S.C.,, alleging negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries.

Carol Ginther filed a complaint on June 15 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging failure to provide her with proper dental care.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between Nov. 13, 2012 and Jan. 14, 2015 she underwent several dental treatment that caused her pain and injuries and required additional dental procedures. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly evaluate the plaintiff's dental condition and for developing a treatment plan based on that inaccurate evaluation.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Anthony E. Blumberg of Anthony E. Blumberg & Associates, LLC in Chicago.
