Company claims it hasn't been paid for aluminum products

Late 02

CHICAGO — An Illinois corporation is suing Texas-based S.B. Southern Welding L.L.C. and Gregory Shane Boston, citing alleged breach of contract and unpaid debt.

Mandel Metals Inc. filed a complaint on June 17 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they breached their contractual agreement with the plaintiff by failing to pay for all the aluminum products they received.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between Jan. 1, 2015 and May 31, 2016, Mandel Metals Inc. sustained monetary damages to its business when it was not paid for the products it has delivered. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to remit payment on all the invoices from plaintiff for all the aluminum products.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount of $304,536.47 plus interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants. It is represented by Nathan H. Lichtenstein and Lindsay P. Lollio of Aronberg Goldgehn Davis & Garmisa in Chicago.
