CHICAGO — An administrator of a deceased man's estate is suing Symphony Deerbrook LLC, d/b/a Symphony of Joliet, and Symphony Financial Services LLC, alleging negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries in a nursing care facility.

Andrea Magosky, as independent administrator of the estate of Patrick Magosky, filed a complaint on June 20 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper care to Patrick Magosky while he was staying at their facility.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Patrick Magosky suffered physical injuries when he fell from his wheelchair and suffered other medical conditions that caused his overall health to deteriorate and contributed to or caused his death. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision and assistance to Patrick Magosky while he was being taken care of in their facility.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount in excess of $50,000. She is represented by Michael F. Bonamarte IV and Jared M. Reynolds of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
