CHICAGO — An administrator of a deceased man's estate is suing The Stratford at South Commons Condominium, D&K Real Estate Service Corp. and Draper and Kramer Inc., property owners, alleging negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent a drowning.
Silver White, special administrator of the estate of Kevin Stallworth, filed a complaint on June 30 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide adequate personnel to supervise their premises.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 30, 2014, Stallworth went swimming and drowned. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision to their pool area in case someone needed help.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $50,000. She is represented by Susan E. Loggans & Associates, P.C. of Susan E. Loggans & Associates, P.C. in Chicago.
