CHICAGO — A patient is suing The University of Chicago Medical Center d/b/a The University of Chicago Medicine, a hospital, alleging negligence and insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries.
Carolyn Moore filed a complaint on July 11 in Cook County Circuit Court against The University of Chicago Medical Center, d/b/a The University of Chicago Medicine, alleging that the hospital failed to properly evaluate the plaintiff's condition.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in July and August of 2014, she sustained injuries as a result of failures of care at the hospital. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to accurately diagnose her condition and provide her with proper medical treatment.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount in excess of this court's jurisdictional requisite. She is represented by Alexander M. Sukhman of Sukhman l Yagoda in Chicago.
