CHICAGO — A couple's lawsuit against Adventist Health Partners, Inc.; Adventist Health System; Adventist Health System Sunbelt Healthcare Corporation; Hinsdale Primary care Associates; Hinsdale Primary Care; and Smitha Rajasekhar, M.D., health providers, alleges negligence in failure to diagnose a cerebral aneurysm.
George Papadopoulos and Katherina Papadopoulos filed a complaint on July 13 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging failure to diagnose the cause of George Papadopoulos' headaches.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that in 2011, George Papadopoulos experienced severe pain from frequent headaches, and that Rajasekhar failed to diagnose a cerebral aneurysm. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible for allegedly initially missing the correct diganosis, leading to a much more serious condition that required extensive medical treatment.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $50,000. They are represented by John J. Simonetti of Marino & Simonetti in Chicago.
