CHICAGO — A woman individual is suing Loyola University Medical Center, Loyola Hospital and Loyola University Health System, alleging negligence related to a fall.
Susan Konieczka filed a complaint on July 13 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to keep their premises safe for pedestrians.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 4, 2015, she sustained physical injuries when she tripped and fell due to an exposed pipe. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to inspect their premises for any hazard that could cause an accident for pedestrians.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Robert Adelman of Levin, Riback Law Group, P.C. in Chicago.
