Man claims care providers missed tendon injury

CHICAGO — A man is suing Northwestern Memorial Hospital; Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation, d/b/a Northwestern Medical Group; Northwestern Medicine; Patrick Connor, M.D.; Hinsdale Orthopaedics Associates, S.C., d/b/a Hinsdale Orthopaedics; and Leah Urbanosky, M.D., alleging negligence and insufficient measures  taken to prevent injuries.

Ronald Naples filed a complaint on July 12 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to properly evaluate his injury.

According to the complaint the plaintiff alleges that after an arm injury from broken glass in July 2014, a tendon laceration was not diagnose, and he remained injured until he underwent repair surgery in December 2014. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly evaluate and treatment his injury.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $50,000. He is represented by Brion W. Doherty of Motherway & Napleton, LLC in Chicago.
