Potential property buyer accuses Indigo Realty of breach of contract

Contract 01

CHICAGO – An individual alleges a Palos Hills real estate company prevented him from closing on a sale.

Riyad Elagha filed a complaint on Aug. 24 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Indigo Realty LLC alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered damages from being unable to close the sale of Palos Hills property in July. The plaintiff holds Indigo Realty LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to deliver the documents and disclosures needed to close the sale as required by its contractual agreement with plaintiff.

The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages of more than $100,000, statutory interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants. He is represented by Anthony J. Nasharr and Sohil Shah of Polsinelli PC in Chicago.
