CHICAGO — A patient is suing Palos Community Hospital, alleging negligence in connection with the development of pressure sores.
Michael Collins filed a complaint on Sept. 1 in Cook County Circuit Court against Palos Community Hospital, alleging that the hospital failed to provide proper medical care to plaintiff.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he developed pressure sores during his hospital stay, and holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to provide him with adequate supervision in order to avoid the development of pressure sores.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by Jordan S. Powell of Levin & Perconti in Chicago.
