CHICAGO — Two Chicago residents are suing Polish Museum of America, saying museum representatives  allegedly misled the plaintiffs into believing that items they found at their new property had been stolen and had to be turned over to the authorities for investigation, when the real motivation was for the museum to be able to acquire those items.

Steven David Buzzo and Jennifer Lynn Koshiol filed a complaint on Sept. 2 in Cook County Circuit Court against Polish Museum of America, alleging that the museum corporation made false representations regarding items the plaintiffs found on their new property.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they suffered damages from being misled into turning over items to the museum which were rightfully theirs.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and ask that a Writ of Replevin be issued against the defendant. They are represented by Judith Anne Gleason of The Gleason Law Group, PC in Chicago.
