Brooklyn Boulders rock-climbing facility accused of allegedly not supervising woman who fell

CHICAGO — A woman is suing a rock-climbing center, alleging staff allowed her to use the facility without training, culminating in a 15-foot fall and injuries.

Amy Taylor filed a complaint on Sept. 14 in Cook County Circuit Court against Brooklyn Boulders LLC, alleging that the company allowed the plaintiff to use its facility without adequate safety equipment or proper training.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in February, she sustained physical injuries in a 15-foot fall. The plaintiff holds Brooklyn Boulders LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision to the plaintiff while using its rock-climbing facility.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks an unspecified judgment against the defendant. She is represented by Matthew T. Jenkins of Corboy & Demetrio, P.C. in Chicago.
