Man says Skilsaw maker responsible for catastrophic injuries

CHICAGO — A man who says he suffered catastrophic hand injuries while using a Skilsaw power table saw has filed a lawsuit alleging product liability.

Danny Miller filed a complaint on Sept. 14 in Cook County Circuit Court against Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, alleging that the Illinois corporation failed to implement proper safety measures for on its products.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered severe physical injuries when the blade of the saw came in contact with his hand. The plaintiff holds Robert Bosch Tool Corporation responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide adequate safety features on its products.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by F. John Cushing III of Cushing Law Offices in Chicago.
