CHICAGO — An administrator of a deceased woman's estate has filed a wrongful death claim alleging negligence in nursing home care.

James Nash, as independent administrator for the estate of LB Holmes, is suing Symphony of Crestwood. He filed a complaint on Sept. 15 in Cook County Circuit Court alleging that the nursing facility failed to provide proper care to Holmes.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Holmes sustained a right hip fracture from a fall, causing the deterioration of her overall health and contributing to her death. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly failing to provide adequate supervision to Holmes or implement a care plan to address her risk of falling.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000. He is represented by Bella Feinstein of Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates, P.C. in Chicago.
