CHICAGO — A patient is suing DuPage Medical Group Ltd. and a radiology technologist, alleging a botched CT scan led to pain and subsequent surgeries to repair injuries.

Darice Hospedales filed a complaint on Sept. 15 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper medical care to her.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she experienced pain, scarring and deformity and required subsequent surgeries. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to remove an IV at the conclusion of a contrast CT scan, resulting in her injuries.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by Mark A. Brown of The Law Office of Lane & Lane, LLC in Chicago.
