CHICAGO — A married couple's lawsuit against Midway Internal Medicine and doctors, identified as Virendra Mathur, M.D., and Hema Mathur, M.D., alleges negligence in medical care.
Sandra Sadler and James Sadler filed a complaint on Sept. 21 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper medical care to Sandra Sadler.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that Sandra sustained severe permanent physical injuries which required additional medical treatment. The plaintiffs holds Midway and the doctors responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to properly address Sandra Sadler's atherosclerotic carotid disease.
The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by Michael E. Sweeney of Michael E. Sweeney & Associates, LLC in Chicago.
