CHICAGO — A man is suing former employers Nadeau's Ice Scultpures Inc. and James A. Nadeau, alleging violation of a deferred wage agreement.

Armand Ramirez filed a complaint on Sept. 26 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to properly compensate him.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges the defendants have not paid him under an agreement they had reached for deferred wage payments during a time when the company faced financial difficulties. He claims he is owed money following his Aug. 13 termination.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $100,000 plus court costs and punitive damages, including any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Andrew E. Kolb of Vanek, Larson & Kolb, LLC in Saint Charles.
