CHICAGO — A married couple's lawsuit against a contractor cites alleged fraud.
Edward Fitzpatrick and Elizabeth C. Fitzpatrick are suing Michael Richter, who does business as 2M Construction Management. The plaintiffs filed a complaint on Sept. 26 in Cook County Circuit Court against 2M.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that in 2015, 2M made false representation to the plaintiff's in order to induce them into entering a contract, costing them significant monetary damages.
The plaintiffs seek an award of actual damages plus any further relief this court grants.
