CHICAGO — The mother of a boy hurt while using a resort's pool slide has sued the resort for alleged liability and negligence.

Chelsea Allen filed a complaint on Sept. 28 in the Cook County Circuit Court against Hilton Worldwide, Inc., Hilton Resorts Corporation, Hilton Illinois LLC, First ILR LLC, which does business as Indian Lakes Golf Resort and Conference Center, and First Hospitality Group Inc., alleging that they failed to properly maintain the ladder of their pool.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Sept. 6, the boy  sustained physical injuries while using the pool slide ladder. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision to minors using the pool area or to provide sufficient warning regarding the hazardous condition of the pool ladder.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against the defendants in an unspecified amount . They are represented by George Argionis, Al Koritsaris and Peter S. Coorlas, Jr. of Argionis & Associates, LLC in Chicago.
