Norwegian-American Hospital, others accused of negligence in connection with death

CHICAGO — A deceased man's family has filed a wrongful death claim against Norwegian-American Hospital; and doctors identified as Ignacio Fornaris, M.D.; Matthew Kleinmaier, M.D.; Emile Cambry, M.D.; and Jose D. Leon, M.D., alleging negligence in medical care.

Blanca Mosquera, special administrator of the estate of Mesias Mosquera, filed a complaint on Oct. 26 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper medical care to Mesias Mosquera.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Mosquera did not receive proper medical care, contributing to his death. 

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000. She is represented by John Machenry of Hofeld and Schaffner in Chicago.
