Alma Lasers says customer hasn't paid invoices for purchased cosmetic laser equipment

CHICAGO — A maker of cosmetic laser equipment is suing Yigazu Isthetics and Wellness Center, citing alleged breach of contract.

Alma Lasers Inc. filed a complaint on Oct. 25 in Cook County Circuit Court against Yigazu, alleging that the defendant failed to pay the plaintiff for equipment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2015, the defendant allegedly breached the companies' agreement by failing to pay invoices from the plaintiff.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $130,912 in damages, $14,912 in interest, plus interest at an annual rate of 18 percent accruing from Oct. 26 at a per diem rate of $64.55 per day and any further relief the court grants. It is represented by John F. Kloecker and Justin A. Seccombe of Locke Lord LLP in Chicago.
