CHICAGO — A man is suing Nite Games Bar and Grill, and a patron, alleging assault, negligence, liability, insufficient measures taken to prevent injuries and unlawful sale of liquor to an intoxicated person.
Ken Stowe filed a complaint on Oct. 28 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that Nite Games allowed the other patron to become intoxicated, and that the other patron then struck the plaintiff in the face with a broken beer bottle.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 16, he sustained physical injuries from the assault. The plaintiff holds the establishment responsible for alleged negligence and unlawful alcohol sale, and the patron responsible for the alleged attack.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Mark P. Loftus of Law Offices of Mark P. Loftus in Chicago.
