CHICAGO — A deceased man's family has filed a wrongful death claim alleging negligence in medical care.
Sarah Vasquez Gonzalez, as administrator of the estate of Rodolfo Chavez Lopez, filed a complaint on Oct. 28, in the Cook County Circuit Court against Union Health Service Inc.; Agnieszka Brukasz, M.D.; Fakhruddin Adamj, M.D.; Terrence Lerner, M.D.; Michael Rossi, M.D.; Yen Li-Hsiang, M.D.; Blake Movitz, M.D..; Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center; Advocate Illinois Masonic Health Partners, d/b/a Advocate Illinois Masonic Physician Partners; and Advocate Health and Hospitals Corporation, d/b/a Advocate Medical Group, alleging that they failed to provide proper medical care to the decedent.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Lopez suffered from medical conditions that were not properly addressed, contributing to his death. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to properly diagnose the decedent's medical condition.
