CHICAGO — A former driver is suing Coach USA Inc. and Megabus USA LLC, claiming that he was fired in retaliation for filing a workers' compensation claim.
Preston Taylor filed a complaint on Nov. 4 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they wrongfully terminated his employment.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges he was improperly fired after he sought workers' compensation in connection with a bus crash in which he was badly hurt and in which others were killed.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. He is represented by Edward R. Moor of Moor Law Office, P.C. in Chicago.
