CHICAGO — A deceased man's family is suing Northwest Community Hospital; David Tse, M.D.; George Christopoulos, M.D.; and Lincoln Internal Medicine, alleging negligence in medical care.

Dena Economou, individually and as special administrator of the estate of Spyros Economou, filed a complaint on Nov. 7 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper medical care to Spyros Economou.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Economou suffered serious physical injuries that contributed to the deterioration of his overall health. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to properly monitor Economou's neurologic condition and apply the necessary treatment.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court. She is represented by Stephanie K. Nathanson and Michael T. Peterson of Law Offices of Stephanie K. Nathanson in Chicago.
