Duratel LLC, others accused of breaching contract with utility-pole inventor

Contract 07

CHICAGO — A man is suing Duratel LLC; Trident Industries LLC; and Peter Ceko, saying they should pay him $2.5 million for allegedly taking his invention of a superior utility pole.

Donald Williams filed a complaint on Nov. 10 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to pay him.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he invented a superior utility pole and suffered damages as the result of losing his assets without receiving payment. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegely failing to pay him, according to a contract.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount greater than $2.5 million, court costs and interest and any further relief this court grants. He is represented by Kevin P. McJessy of McJessy, Ching & Thompson, LLC in Chicago.
