Woman dismisses her lawsuit vs man she accused of defamatory internet posts following break-up

CHICAGO — A woman has voluntarily dismissed her lawsuit against a man she claimed defamed her after a purported romantic involvement ended several years ago.

On Nov. 14, a Cook County judge ordered dismissed a lawsuit brought by Alexandra Garripoli against Krisztian Boros.

According to the court order, Garripoli voluntarily dismissed the case and her attorneys tendered a check to Boros in court to conclude the matter. 

Garripoli had filed suit on Nov. 10, 2016, asking the court to order Boros to pay at least $2.5 million, alleging he defamed her in internet posts.

She is represented by Daniel E. Massoglia of MK Law LLC in Chicago.

The defendant is represented by Kuehl Law P.C., of Chicago.
