Woman accuses doctors of negligent care of late mother's cancer

CHICAGO – A woman alleges her mother's cancer was not properly treated.

Tamika Hill, as special administrator of the estate of Linda Hill, filed a complaint on Nov. 16 in Cook County Circuit Court against Alexander Starr, M.D.; Monroe Medical Associates SC, Primary Health Oncology & Hematology; Leonard Robinson, M.D.; Specialty Physicians of Illinois LLC, formerly known as Wellgroup Health Partners LLC; and Franciscan Alliance Inc.,   alleging wrongful death

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendants failed to timely and adequately treat Linda Hill for cancer. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to properly monitor Linda Hill's esophageal cancer in order to prevent it from progressing.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount of more than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Carl S. Salvato of Salvato & O'Toole in Chicago.
