Woman claims injection of substance caused an inflamed reaction

CHICAGO — A patient is suing Cedric Coleman, M.D., Associates in Primary Care, S.C., and Advocate Health Care, citing alleged insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.

Gladys Davis filed a complaint on Nov. 16, in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants alleging that they failed to provide proper medical care to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, in 2014, she suffered physical injuries from the inflammatory reaction to "Hydrogel,"  which she said was injected into her by the defendants.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court cost. She is represented by I. Peter Polansky of Polansky & Cichon, CHTD. in Chicago.
