CHICAGO — A patient is suing Kam Patel, D.D.S. and Lakeview Oral Maxillofacial Surgery & Med Spa, alleging negligence in dental care.
Kimberly Laughlin filed a complaint on Nov. 28 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to properly perform the extractions of wisdom teeth, causing a fractured jaw.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of this court. She is represented by Peter D. Tarpey of Tarpey, Jones & Schroeder, LLC in Chicago.
