CHICAGO — A patient is suing Oak Park Medical Center; a doctor, identified as Thomas Bilko, M.D.; and Associated Medical Centers of Illinois Ltd., alleging negligence in medical care.
Dosheer E. Tolbert-Smith filed a complaint on Nov. 30 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging her peroneal nerve was severed during surgery, as a result of the defendants alleged failure to properly perform surgery for a meniscal tear.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 plus court costs. She is represented by Thomas M. Paris, in Chicago.
