CHICAGO — An administrator of a deceased woman's estate has filed a wrongful death claim against Saint Anthony Hospital; Central Nursing and Rehabilitation Center; and two individuals, alleging negligence in health care.
Orlando Robinson, as independent administrator for the estate of Deborah Bellmon, filed a complaint on Nov. 30 in Cook County Circuit Court against the defendants, alleging that they failed to provide proper medical care to Bellmon.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges Bellmon suffered from the development of pressure ulcers that contributed to her death. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because they allegedly failed to provide adequate supervision to Bellmon in order to avoid the development of pressure ulcers.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that exceeds $50,000. He is represented by Bella Feinstein of The Law Offices of Steven J. Malman & Associates in Chicago.
